Bear Software Club

A blog on programming and programmers

Starting a blog

Why?

I start this blog to improve my written communication skills. There are a few reasons for that. Expressing clearly my thoughts can be hard for me, and it can also be stressful. This is even worse at work because of the pressure, and because I work in English as a non-native speaker. From what I read on the internet, there is no better cure for this than writing, and writing a lot.

What?

I will write about software development (my day job), and work in general. I am really interested in the people side of work, so this is what I will write about. Although I sometimes enjoy reading technical blogs, I don’t feel I have the skill or the urge to write about technical topics.

Goal for 2026

My goal for this year is to publish a post every month. I am interested in medium-size posts; this will give me enough space to develop ideas, but not so much that I struggle to fill it.
